Our shipping season has come to an end for the 2002 season. We want to thank all of the wonderful customers we have served this year. We are looking forward to hearing from you again next year and please send your friends and relatives!


*New research shows herbs may offer more antioxidant properties than
many fruits and veggies. The number one highest in content was
oregano. Also good sources are dill, thyme, rosemary and peppermints

#0301- Angelica-(Angelica archangelica)- P, Z 4-9, sun to part shade, ht. 72" plus.
Stems candied for culinary use. All parts of the plant will help relieve indigestion and gas. Will live only 2-3 years if flower heads are not removed early. Price $2.40
Basils
#0302- Basil, Genovese(Ocimum basilicum)-A, sun, 24-30".
Great fragrance, used especially in tomato dishes. Slow to bolt.
#0303- Basil, Lemon (Ocimum basilicum ciriodora)- A, sun, ht. 22-24".
Great lemon scent. Use as you would regular basil but adds a great lemony flavor.
#0304- Basil, Dark Opal (Ocimum basilicum)- A, sun, ht. 16-20".
Good basil flavor with wonderful purple color. This culinary herb makes a great splash of color in pasta and salads.

#0307- Lemongrass (Cymbopogon Citratus)- P, Z 10, ht. up to 6 ft.
Leaves are used in Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Makes a flavorful tea. Price $2.90

Delightful in teas and potpourris. Bushy plant, strong lemon flavor. May be overwintered inside.
Mints
#0309- Mint (Mentha aquatica citrata) 'Orange Mint' P, Z 4-9
This is the Eau de Cologne mint treasured for its scent in potpourris. Its citrus taste is great in fruit punch and teas.

Low growing, trailing. Great culinary herb. May have medicinal uses for

Most common sage used for cooking, especially for poultry dishes. Sage tea gargle is great for sore throat.
