All plants are in 2.5"x3.5"pots. All plants are $3.90 unless otherwise specified.
Our shipping season for 2003 will be approximately March 15th thru June 15th depending on weather conditions and the zone in which you live.

#0400-Chamomile-German (Matricaria recutita)A, sun, height varies 6-12".
Flowers make delightful tea with a combination of apple and pineapple scent. It aids digestion and is a gentle sleep aid. It is self seeding. This medicinal herb is a must in every herb garden.
#0401-Echinacea purpurea (Purple Coneflower) P, Z 3-10, sun, height 24-26". 2002 International Herb Association Herb of the Year.
Roots of the second year plant of this medicinal herb are used for a tea to boost the immune system.

#0402-Joe-Pye Weed (Eupatorium puerpureum) P, Z 4-10, sun to part-shade, height 4-10'.
Used to stimulate circulation and sweating and also for kidney problems. This medicinal herb is a wonderful landscape plant. This medicinal herb is becoming extinct in the wild so please cultivate.

Lavenders: Primarily known for their pleasing scent that induces a sense of relaxation, and also has culinary uses. Consult herbal recipe literature for uses.

#0403-Lavender (Lavendula augustifolia 'English') P, Z 5-8, sun, height 15-18".
Fragrant silvery foliage, flowers are lavender blue. The lavender medicinal herbs are a must for anyone interested in aromatherapy.

#0404-Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia 'Munstead') P, Z 4-9, sun, height 12-18".
Flowers are bluer and earlier than most.
#0405-Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) P, Z 5-, up to 5 ft.
Heart-shapes leaves, white flowers. A tea made with fresh or dried leaves, calms the nerves and strengthens the heart. Research shows it may be a great anti-viral. This medicinal herb is a nice landscape plant also. Grows nicely in part shade or sun.
#0406-Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca) P, Z 3-8, sun, height 24-72".
This is known as a traditional female tonic, especially for menstrual problems. May calm nerves and strengthen the heart. Do not use during pregnancy.
#0407-Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) B, Z 4-9, sun, height 24-84".
Very dramatic with a tall spire of yellow flowers. Medicinal properties to relieve respiratory ailments. Infused oil from flowers used for earaches.

Roots are used as a relaxant and sedative. Nature's best herbal sedative. Easy to grow and may self seed.

Flowers have higher medicinal properties than leaves. Crushed flower tops and leaves applied topically stops bleeding and contributes to wound healing. Many use tea to treat colds and fevers.
