Our shipping season for 2003 will be approximately March 15th thru June 15th depending on weather conditions and the zone in which you live.

Peppers are highly valued nutritionally. The more brillant the color the higher they are in beta-carotene. They are a good source of vitamin C and are rich in fiber.

#0200 Black Hungarian-70-80 days.
Similar shape to Jalapenos, but fruits are black ripening to red. Green foliage is tipped with purple and has purple flowers. Fruits 3"-4". This is a striking heirloom pepper.

#0201 Bulgarian Carrot Pepper-65-68 days.
This heirloom was smuggled out through the iron curtain more than 20 years ago as the story goes. It ripens from green to deep yellow-orange. Intense fruity and pungent flavor. It adds color and flavor to glazes, marinades, salsa, and chutneys. Plants grow to 18".

#0202 Buran Pepper- 90 days.
This heirloom is from Poland and is very sweet. Equally sweet when green or red. Plants are 18-24" tall. Fruits are 4"x3". This brightly colored heirloom pepper is rich in beta carotene.
#0203 Lemon Drop-100 days.
This heirloom is from Peru. It is a great seasoning pepper and has an intensely hot, citrus flavor. Plants are 2'x2'. Fruits are 2 1/2" long and 1/2" wide.
#0204 Chocolate Miniature-90 days.
Family heirloom pepper from Ohio. Excellent in salads, and add nice color to pasta dishes. Very short 16" plants with 2" fruits. Green fruits ripen to chocolate.
#0205 Red Miniature-90 days.
Family heirloom from Ohio. Excellent in salads, and add nice color to pasta dishes.. Very short 16" plants with 2" fruits. Green fruits ripen to red.
#0206 Yellow Miniature-90 days.
Family heirloom from Ohio. Excellent in salads, and add nice color to pasta dishes. Very short 16" plants with 2" fruits. Green fruits ripen to yellow.
#0207 Quadrato Asti Giallo-80 days.
Bell pepper type ripening from green to yellow. Deliciously sweet crisp flesh when either green or yellow.
#0208 Sheepnose Pimento-70-80 days.
Very meaty. Pimento shaped sweet fruits are good for canning. This heirloom pepper is delightfully sweet.
