Cedar Knoll Farm
is a small acreage located on a hill in Cedar County, (hence the name),
near Laurel, Nebraska.
We are John and Linda Morris, two city raised, country
at heart adventurers. John was born and raised in Los Angeles and is a
retired police officer from that area. His family's roots, however, stem
from Iowa. Linda was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan but has always
been country at heart. Linda has 30-something years experience as a registered
nurse.
They moved to the good life of Nebraska almost 10 years
ago from southern California. These city people have tried it all. They
have raised chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and sheep (Linda's experience
as an obstetrical nurse helped in that area.

Linda had desired for about 25 years to have a greenhouse.
Linda always knew that pioneer traditions and the desire for the earthy
smell of growing plants coursed through her veins. Since John aims to
please, he built her a 12'x24' greenhouse utilizing all the old windows
from their 90 year old farmhouse. That's where the dream began and it
didn't stop there. Linda found a passion for cultivating and watching
those plants grow.

Linda has also found a concurrent passion for preventative
and alternative medicine. It seemed natural to combine the two interests.
Linda has received a Certificate of Nutritional Herbology from the School
of Natural Healing in Springville, Utah. She continues to study towards
her goal of Master Herbalist. She is driven to educate those around her
to healthier lifestyles.
The dream continues now with the completed construction
of their 30'x96' commercial house. Production of the healthiest vegetables
and herbs possible has begun with the use of organic methods. Welcome
to their world.
